Sometimes, decluttering your space can be extremly overwhelming, epecially if you have lots of stuff. But how do you know if you have to much stuff? If your looking around and you have more then 2 things on your kitchen table, more then 4 things on your counter tops and more then 6 things on your floor. Including kitchen table, fridge, garbadge can etc. I hate to break it to you but you have to much stuff and it's time do declutter. Remember, if your house work is always overwhelming that just means you cannot control the things you have around you witch causes mental draining witch effects your mood, the people around you and your own self worth. Lets get right into the nitty griddy.
The best thing you can do, is to start from the bottom up. If you have a basment start there, or just on your lower level. If you have all one floor start in the worst spot. Now your gonna need some storage bins. Keep the reciept as you might not need them later. These ones, are perfect size and affordable for the stuff you need to store like baby clothes and stuff you"ll need to bring upstairs or into another room. Now, once your there I need you to get your 3-4 bins or just boxes if you don't have bins, and a big garbadge back and go to town! This might be the tricky part and the most overwhelming part. It's gonna get worse before it gets better. Your house might look like it come off the hoarders show but this method works because you have no choice once it's all in progress. Your gonna seperate everything by room, once the box if full pack it up and bring it upstairs or into a bigger space. Repeat until EVERYTHING if moved from that room. Of course if you have a bed in there you can keep that (unless it's old and not being used) everthing goes upstairs. You will not be catogarizing stuff for that room until it's empty. If you haven't used it or will not use it throw it out. It's gonna be hard but you won't remember throwing it out in a week from now and your mental health will thank you.
